Eucharistic Ministers

 Meeting Dates/Times:    None presently.

 Requirements for Membership:  .Catholic adults in good standing in the St. Theresa parish community who are examples of exceptional public Christian witness and who regularly attend Sunday mass.

 Mission: 
To assist in the distribution of Holy Communion when the Ordinary Ministers, i.e., bishops, priests or deacons, are not available to assist.  The Extraordinary Ministers assist at weekend mass and are called upon to distribute Holy Communion to the parishioners who are homebound and hospitalized.

Service as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist is a privilege and cannot be taken lightly.  Those who wish to serve as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist should contact Fr. Chris at the rectory.  Candidates for this office must attend a 4 week class conducted at St. Theresa’s on the basis of need.
