St.Theresa’s fair

On April 3, St. Theresa’s Church will host a Parish Activities Fair in the auditorium from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. The purpose of the fair is to inform parishioners and members of the community about the programs and good works being done by the parish groups. Over 22 groups and organizations will be in attendance and will provide representatives to discuss their goals, membership or volunteer requirements.

In addition, people visiting the Fair will have the opportunity to take a survey about other programs that they would like to see put in place such as after-school tutoring or job training.

The work carried out at St. There-sa’s ranges from the Midnight Run, a group that brings food and other necessities to people who are homeless and maintains a food pantry to the AHRC Dance Committee, which hosts dances several times a year for young people with developmental disabilities. Other groups expected to attend are the Pre-Teen and Teen Centers, the Adult and Children’s Choirs, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and the Feast Committee which oversees all of the arrangements for the St. Theresa’s Feast that takes place every July.

For more information, contact Barbara DiFiore, at (718) 644-8154.
